Dear Friends in Christ,

We have been kept very busy since our last newsletter to you all.  We have had a lot of pilgrims visit the shrine and grotto.  Last Wednesday we had a bus load of 40 people plus a couple of cars as well.  We have had a few people express interest to arrange pilgrimages from America and Singapore.  Our Blessed Mother has asked us to step out boldly and trust completely.  We have been told that we will be travelling this year.  We feel we will be going to the Eastern States to talk with people but we leave it in the hands of The Holy Family and we know that we will be directed. 

On the 31st December, 2005 we downloaded the list of saints from the Medjugorje site.  They say that we don't choose the saint but that the saint chooses us.  At the bottom of each name is a prayer intention.  This year I chose St.. Francis Xavier and I have to pray for missionaries.  Eileen chose Father. Slavco Barbaric (deceased) and her prayer intention for the year is to pray to the Holy Spirit. A lot of people who have visited have chosen a saint from our basket and it is amazing how appropriate the saint is for them.  We are encouraged to read about the lives of the saints as they have already walked the walk and are just waiting for us to ask them for their help.  We encourage people to find out  more about their patron saint by typing in the name in a search engine on the internet.

Nancy and baby Catherine move to Perth in the middle of February because we were unable to get Nancy into university in Rockingham.  It will be sad to see them go but they will come home regularly to stay.

God has been very generous with how He has looked after the both of them.  People have been so generous.  Catherine is 5months old today and is getting to be very verbal.  She is a very happy baby and I am sure once she is on the move she will keep Nancy on her toes.

8th January, 2006  (Apparition night)

May the light of my Son Jesus the Christ shine down upon you and light your path.  Come out of the darkness into the light and accept the love of your Lord and Saviour.  Turn back and listen to the words given to you.  Do not be stubborn and hard-hearted and want to do it your own way.  Humble yourself and obey the will of the Father.  Recognize the hand of God in your life.  Acknowledge the many graces he pours down upon you in abundance.  Give glory and thanks to Him and allow Him to be part of your life.  It is important that you listen to my words at this time.  Do not dismiss them and follow the wrong path, instead come close and include your Heavenly family in your life.  I, as your Mother, want to guide and help you to come close.  I ask you to listen to the advice given to you by reading the Scriptures.  Come close to my Son by reception of the sacraments.  The journey is difficult when you try and do it your way.  Stop searching for fulfilment in the wrong places.  I want you to realize the only way you will have peace and fulfilment is by coming close to the Father in Heaven through His Son Jesus in the Holy Spirit.  The Father has given you the Holy Spirit to help and guide you.  Pray daily for the inspiration you need to be given to you by the Holy Spirit so you will make right judgements; you will have wisdom and knowledge to do all in the right order; you will gain the courage and strength needed to step out boldly in faith and do the work the Father needs you to do.  Make use of the many graces given to you and always give humble thanks for all you have been given.  As I have told you many times before there is much work to be done.  I ask you again to pray that the Holy Spirit will open your eyes to the plan the Father has for you.  Trust completely and open your heart this night and with peace and joy be ready to accept the challenge of stepping out and furthering the Kingdom of God by the love you show to all those who are put in your path.  I thank you for your faithfulness and I send you many blessings from the Father in Heaven.

Next Day of Prayer is 11th February.  Mass will be celebrated at 11.30am.  Please bring a plate of food if intending to stay for lunch.

Candle Light Vigil at Parish of Our Lady of Lourdes Rockingham

To celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes there is a candle light

rosary vigil at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Townsend Street,

Rockingham after the 7pm Mass on 11th February.

The Thirty-three day Consecration to The Immaculate Heart of Mary begins again on 2nd February and finishes on 25th March The Feast of The Annunciation

Please listen to that which I am allowed to say to you for a time comes when I will no longer be able to give Almighty God’s words to my children. The time comes when all of your unrepented sins shall be revealed to you. In that moment I ask you to respond to The Call to ask for forgiveness.
There is no longer a time in which you can afford to ignore God's offers. The danger in the world surrounds everyone. Godless people abound and many warnings are shown. Let go of your resistance and come into the protection of the united hearts of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and my Immaculate Heart. We will strengthen you and give you shelter in the coming storms.

 Almighty God never abandons His children even though they ignore and reject His love and mercy. He patiently waits for their acceptance and response to His calls to them. He merely asks for your love to be shown through the way you live your life and the actions you choose to perform within your life.
Pray that each day you may come closer to The Father by the inspiration of The Holy Spirit which comes upon you as you accept the truth and light of The Christ. Pray that all may grow in Holiness and understanding as they repent and improve their way of life. Pray that all hearts may be open to accept the mercy and loving forgiveness which is offered to all. I ask all to come to God with child like faith and innocence. Allow yourself to accept His love and His lessons by which you learn truth, mercy and selflessness. Be witnesses to Almighty God’s great love as shown through His sacrifice upon Calvary and which was offered for all. Trust God’s Holy Plan and accept His will so that it may become your will. Walk boldly in His light and let go of your fears and concerns and burdens. Your heaviness will be made light when you accept his offer to help carry the load. Be example of My Adored Son, The Christ through you acceptance of Holy Will and Divine Mercy. Those who truly repent all of their sins now will have a great joy which only comes from doing the Will of God and living within His favour. In humility give praise and thanksgiving in every day for the graces and gifts which are showered upon you.

Bethany.  The house sleeps 8 people.  The cost is by donation as we do not wish to

disadvantage anyone.  It is fully equipped and pilgrims need to only supply there own meals.  They are also able to join us in the grotto for 8pm prayers.

On the 12th January I went to a Christian Bookshop to spend the voucher I received for my birthday last year.  I prayed that I would pick the books that I needed to read.  I chose a book by a Christian author called Beyond Tuesday and a daily Bible.  The daily Bible starts on January 1st with a reading from the old testament, a reading from the new testament, one from Psalms and Proverbs.  By the end of the year you have completed the whole bible.  I started reading Beyond Tuesday which was a fictional book about a lady who lost her husband who was a fire-fighter on Sept 11th and how she worked on a volunteer basis in St. Paul’s next to Ground Zero reaching out to all who had lost their loved ones.  The reading that she told a lot who   visited was Jeremiah 29:11.  I thought I would look it up in my daily bible to see what day it fell on and it turned out the reading was on Eileen and my birthday.  Jeremiah 29:11 says 

For I know well the plans I have in mind for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare not your woe!  Plans to give you a future full of hope. (New American Bible).

Then on the 19th Eileen received the following message:-

19th January 2006 (Night Prayer)

Do not be afraid to step out into the unknown.  Trust completely in the

Divine Will of your Heavenly Father.  Look for the guidance you need from your Heavenly family.  Recognize the help you have already been given and offer humble thanks to your Eternal Father for the many blessings you have received.  Never doubt that God the Father has a perfect plan for those who turn and include Him in their lives.  He has a plan for each and every one of you just as you read in Jeremiah 29:11.  Many do not want to acknowledge the Eternal Father in their lives and stumble in the dark on the wrong path. Pray that His Divine plan for you will be revealed and always wait on your Heavenly Father.  Do not rush on ahead of His plan because of your impatience.  Practice the virtues of patience and perseverance and know that these will strengthen you.  Humble yourself and accept all that you are given.  Embrace the trials and always pray for the Heavenly help you need. Do not forget the angels and saints who want to help every one of God's children come to the fulfilment of God's perfect plan in their lives.  You are given so much help but many of you have not yet opened your eyes to all you have been sent from Heaven above.  Use all the graces and gifts the Father gives you to deepen your faith.  Pray always to the Blessed Trinity. Praise and thank your Father in Heaven, receive His Son Jesus in communion and be united as one and accept the gifts and graces given to you in the Holy Spirit.  Be filled with the love of the Trinity in your life and never keep it to yourself.  Instead pass it on to others.  Be joyful and never live in fear of what is to come instead always carry the peace and joy of my Son Jesus the Christ wherever you go.  I thank you for your faithfulness and I send you many blessings from up above.
