A lot has happened here since August. To the left is the new stained glass window that Sarah created for the shrine.
We are still making changes on a weekly basis. The floors have been completed in the work room, craft room and the area where people watch the DVD on what is happening here. A cover has also been erected over the grotto by a generous benefactor. This DVD will be available after permission is given by Channel Seven for the use of their footage. We cannot charge for this and it is up to people if they wish to give a donation to offset the cost of postage and CD. We give thanks to God for all our generous benefactors and for His Divine Providence.
We have had a 24year old overseas student, Nancy come to live here at The Holy Family House of Prayer. Nancy delivered a baby girl Catherine Teresa on 23rd August. She went into labour at 5am . We are one hour south of Perth so we finally got going at 7am only to hit peak hour traffic. By this time the contractions were three minutes apart and we had Michael a friend from Ireland hanging out the window of the car pleading with the traffic to let us through. We arrived finally at the hospital and Catherine was delivered at 4.30 pm.
It hasn’t been an easy journey for Nancy. Not only did she have chicken pox at the beginning of the pregnancy but she was confined to a wheelchair from 22 weeks. She was also under a lot of pressure to either abort or to have the baby adopted out.
Catherine’s birth has been such a joy and people have been so generous with gifts and support for Nancy and Catherine. They are both learning how generous our Eternal Father is when you trust Him completely.

Thank you for inviting me to be with you this night.
Know that the humble prayers which you offer to The Eternal Father are
received with much gratitude by Him. Prayer is so important at this time for it is your way of showing the Father your trust and it shows gratitude for the love which He shows to you. Prayer is pure love. It is the response which you give to The Eternal Father for the love which He, as my Adored Son, Jesus The Christ, showed for you on Calvary. While he was still walking with you He gave the great commandment to love one another. When he did this He gave this it was not just a commandment. He made a covenant with you and made a promise to you that if you fulfilled the love of The Father then that love would return to you through great graces and mercy would abound from the endless fount of mercy that is Our Father in Heaven. Allow your day to be dedicated to The Father by making each day a prayer to Him. Let the actions of the day be a symbol of your love for Him. You show your love when you read the Sacred Scriptures and
receive the Sacraments and when you pray and show obedience to His
commandments. To night His love flows upon you and He gives His blessing to all of you. He wishes to give His blessings to all of His children but so many
ignore His presence. Learn of His great love and learn his great commandment. Learn how to be humble in the presence of God for my Adored Son was humble for you. Read and understand the Scriptures. Read the gospel of St John
Chapter 15 verses 9 to 17 and know God hides nothing from you and knowledge of Him frees you as revealed in the second letter to the Corinthians
Chapter 3 verses 17 to 19. Keep peace and love with you always for in love and peace you will have The Christ within you and you will be an example of His merciful love to all whom you meet.

I call you to be peacemakers to all. Whether it be at home with your family or in the work place, be an example to others by your humble heart. Much good will be done when you possess a humble spirit. I ask you to be bathed in the
Virtues of the Holy Spirit. Have complete faith and hope in your God and my Son Jesus and reach out to all you meet in charity and love. Persevere always with patience and trust in the Divine Will of your Father. At all times be
obedient to the Commandments. Call upon the Holy Spirit to inspire you to lead a virtuous life. Pray that you will be given the virtues you need. I thank you for the prayers you offer each day for peace in the world. Do not stop these prayers as they are doing so much good. I ask you to always begin with peace in your own heart. Before you can reach out to others in peace, you must
possess peace yourself. I thank you for always responding to my request for prayers and I ask you to continue your prayers and acts of self sacrifice for the good of all mankind. Go now in the peace and love of my Son Jesus the Christ.

This night I lift all of your prayers up to The Eternal Father. I ask you to
continue your prayers for the need is greater now than ever before. Many of my children blame others for the trials that they have. They seek to place responsibility on anyone except them selves and they disregard the reasons for their suffering. Trials come about either because you willingly ask for them or as a consequence of the life you lead. I have to tell you that those who live a life of indulgence and selfishness and moral abandonment will pay severely when the time comes to stand and be judged by Almighty God. Many trials are coming and if you have prepared as I have requested you to be then fear will not exist within you. Your prayers mitigate much but more signs will come soon. Be prepared and be in a state of grace. Another great movement in the world will happen soon and again many will try to rationalise it or blame God. The true blame is placed firmly on the weight of the sin and abomination resting on the souls of so many of my wayward, lost children. Bring them back to the light and warmth of loving Gods
embrace through the truth of My Adored Son as shown by His Gospels and His sacrifice.

We are living in trying times where evil has permeated every part of our world. Man has turned on his own fellow man and lawlessness exists everywhere. I ask you to pray for protection daily. I need you to be steeped in your prayer life and I ask you not to stray away from the narrow path because of worldly
distractions. Your Eternal Father will protect you and look after you and all your needs. In return he asks you to trust Him completely. I ask you to always stay peaceful and do not worry about all events unnecessarily. If you do as the Eternal Father asks, you do not have any need for concern. I ask you to offer many acts of love and self sacrifice to help your loved ones. Remember to reach out to all in love and leave the rest up to the Father. The Father asks you to speak truth but He also asks that you stay centred in faith and lead by
example to others. I ask you once again to stay close to me, your Mother. I want you to meditate on my rosary and practice the virtues given to you through the mysteries of the rosary. I want you to grow deeper in your love of the
Father and my Son Jesus by your prayer life and the way you lead your life. Always ask for the Holy Spirit to strengthen you in all your endeavours. I thank you for your faithfulness and I send you many blessings from your Eternal
Father.

Also available DVD called Faith’s Journey. This DVD explains the journey of The Weeping Madonna and the apparitions and shows people the shrine and grotto. We are taking expressions of interest and I will let you know when this is available.

Prayer to St. Cosmas & Damian
Oh glorious martyrs of Christ, Sts Cosmas and Damian, you gave your lives for the love of God, benefiting your fellow man, and crowning your martyrdom with an open and loyal profession of your faith. You taught us to love God above all things, and to love our fellow man as ourselves, professing always, and without fear, the religion of Jesus.
Augmenting amongst the faithful populace many miracles, you are glorious indeed. Through your intercession, which brings about deliverance of these miracles, we pray to you for your aid in all things. (state intention) May your patronage never be far from us in the illness of our body and our soul.
Oh great protectors, Sts Cosmas and Damian, assist us with your love and free us from all evils.

Our Father, Hail Mary & Glory Be X 3
St. Cosmas & Damian Feast Day 26th September
Saints Cosmas and Damien were twin brothers born in Arabia (modern day Syria) around 270 A.D. They had three younger brothers; their father died, so their mother, Theodota, was left to raise all five of them herself. Cosmas and Damien were educated in science and medicine, and became physicians that were quite skilled and enthusiastic about their work. They offered their services primarily in the seaport Aegea (between Tarsus and Antioch), on the Gulf of Iskenderun in the Roman Province of Cilicia (modern day Turkey, south central coast). The following story of their work provides a meditation for our own lives: Cosmas and Damien saw in every patient a brother or sister in Christ. For this reason, they showed great charity to all and treated their patients to the best of their ability. Yet no matter how much care a patient required, neither Cosmas nor Damien ever accepted any money for their services. For this reason, they were called anargyroi in Greek, which means "the penniless ones."
Every chance they had, the two saints told their patients about Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Because the people all loved these twin doctors, they listened to them willingly. Cosmas and Damien often brought health back to both the bodies and the souls of those who came to them for help.
When Diocletian's persecution of Christians began in their city, the saints were arrested at once. They had never tried to hide their great love for their Christian faith. They were tortured, but nothing could make them give up their belief in Christ. They had lived for him and had brought so many people to his love. So at last, they were put to death in the year 303.
Diocletian's edict in 303 demanded religious uniformity and the elimination of the Christian sacred literature. Christians who refused to cooperate could face death. It was said that Cosmas and Damien, after refusing to worship the Roman idols, had survived several devious means of torture and death, and were finally beheaded. These martyrs are named in the First Eucharistic Prayer of the Mass and in the Litany of the Saints.
